Welcome to Orbityx Islamica ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"). BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services
- Users aged 13-17 require parental/guardian consent
- You must have legal capacity to enter into contracts
- You are not prohibited from using our Services under applicable law

2. Account Registration and Security

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach
- You may not create multiple accounts for the same individual
- Organizations must provide valid business documentation upon request
Prohibited Account Activities

- • Creating accounts through automated means (bots)
- • Sharing login credentials with third parties
- • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
- • Using the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
3. Code of Conduct
By using our Services, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful, lawful, and appropriate manner. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Content Restrictions
- Hate speech, discrimination, or religious intolerance
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
- Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
- Misinformation or false claims about events/organizations
- Spam, scams, or fraudulent schemes
Technical Violations
- Hacking, cracking, or unauthorized system access
- Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- DDoS attacks or disrupting platform services
- Reverse engineering or decompiling our software
- Automated scraping or data extraction
Community Guidelines:
We foster an inclusive, respectful community that celebrates Islamic values and Australian Muslim diversity. All users must treat others with dignity and respect, regardless of background, ethnicity, or interpretation.
4. Events and Ticketing
Event Registration:
- Event information is provided by organizers and may be subject to change
- Ticket purchases are final unless otherwise specified by the organizer
- Some events may require approval before registration is confirmed
- Capacity limits may apply and tickets may sell out
- Age restrictions or other requirements may apply to certain events
Refund Policy:
- Refund eligibility is determined by individual event organizers
- Cancelled events: Full refund automatically processed
- Rescheduled events: Tickets typically valid for new date
- Processing fees may be non-refundable
- Refund requests must be submitted through the platform
Important Notice:
Orbityx Islamica serves as a platform connecting event organizers with attendees. We are not responsible for event quality, safety, or organizer conduct. Disputes between attendees and organizers should be resolved directly or through our support team.
5. Payments and Fees
Payment Processing:
- All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (Stripe)
- We do not store your full credit card information
- Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified
- Platform fees may apply and will be disclosed before purchase
- Organizations are responsible for setting ticket prices and managing their Stripe accounts
For Attendees:

- • Receipts provided via email
- • Authorized payment methods: Credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- • Installment plans not available
For Organizations:

6. Volunteer Services
Our platform facilitates volunteer opportunities with Islamic organizations. By applying for volunteer positions, you agree to:
Volunteer Commitments:
- Provide accurate information about skills, availability, and qualifications
- Complete required background checks (WWCC, police checks) when requested
- Adhere to organization policies and codes of conduct
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Notify organizations of availability changes promptly
Disclaimer:
Orbityx Islamica does not employ volunteers or guarantee volunteer placements. We are not liable for disputes between volunteers and organizations. Volunteers are not entitled to employee benefits or workers' compensation.
7. Communications and Messaging
Platform Communications:
- We may send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, updates)
- Marketing communications require your explicit consent
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
- Organizations may message attendees about event-related matters
User Communications:
When using our messaging features, you agree not to:
- • Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or chain letters
- • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- • Impersonate organizations or individuals
- • Share sensitive personal information of others
- • Use automated systems to send messages
Monitoring Rights:
We reserve the right to monitor, review, and remove communications that violate these Terms. We may report illegal activity to authorities and cooperate with investigations.
8. Intellectual Property
Our Property:
Orbityx Islamica and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
- Platform name, logo, and branding
- Software code, algorithms, and design
- Database structure and content organization
- Trademarks, service marks, and trade names
Your Content:
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, reviews, comments). However, by posting content, you grant us:
- A non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content
- The right to modify or adapt content for platform functionality
- Sublicense rights to organizations for event-related purposes
- This license is royalty-free and continues even after you stop using our Services
9. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Grounds for Suspension:
- • Violation of Code of Conduct
- • Fraudulent or illegal activity
- • Multiple user complaints
- • Security breaches or hacking attempts
- • Spam or abusive messaging
Grounds for Termination:
- • Repeated violations after warnings
- • Severe misconduct (hate speech, threats)
- • Criminal activity
- • Impersonation or identity fraud
- • Platform abuse or exploitation
Appeal Process:
If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal by contacting support@orbityx.com within 14 days. We will review your case and respond within 7 business days. Our decision is final.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations
NO WARRANTIES
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBITIX ISLAMICA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- • Personal injury or property damage
- • Event cancellations, organizer misconduct, or volunteer disputes
- • Third-party content or conduct
- • Technical failures, interruptions, or security breaches
MAXIMUM LIABILITY: OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS, OR $100 AUD IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Orbityx Islamica from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Third-Party Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services (e.g., payment processors, mapping services, social media) that are not owned or controlled by Orbityx Islamica.
Third-Party Disclaimer:
- We do not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content, privacy policies, or practices
- Access third-party services at your own risk
- We are not liable for any damage or loss from third-party services

Integrated Services:
We use Stripe (payments), Google Maps (location), Sendbird (messaging), and other third-party APIs. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
